Elevated Porsches 911 continue to appeal to the imagination. At the famous Nürburgring, for the second time, a specially dressed up Porsche 911 hanging higher above the asphalt has been caught.
At the beginning of this year, Singer Vehicle Design presented two tastefully modified 911s of the 964 generation and both the current Gemballa and the company founded by the son of its founder are working on fierce 911 variants with greater ground clearance. At the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, a 911 raised by Porsche itself has already been caught and that special chapter will be continued today.
The raised 911 that ran into the lamp at the end of last year turned out not to be a one-off exercise. About six months later, a second heightened 911 from Porsche was snapped, a copy with slightly different bumpers that are part of the SportDesign package, and neatly finished but again widened wheel arches.
Whether Porsche will actually bring a version of the 911 on the market that evokes connotations with the 911 Safari of yesteryear remains to be seen. That Porsche something special is brewed in the development rooms seems in any case to be established.
