Continue growing

Tesla CEO Elon Musk indicates that the brand expects to sell every car produced “as far as it can look ahead”. In doing so, he tries to allay the earlier concerns about insufficient demand.
Tesla is producing more cars than ever and is continuing to ramp up production numbers for the time being. In Q3 of 2022, more than twice as much money came in from car sales as in the same period a year earlier. In addition, the company has indicated that it will increase the production volume by 50 percent annually for the time being. It seems that the brand is prospering. If it weren’t for concerns that surfaced two weeks ago, the demand for Teslas would not rise as fast as the supply due to the economic turmoil.
Not only that, the increasing price of Teslas is also said to be responsible for the declining growth in interest in the product, much to the chagrin of CEO Elon Musk himself. However, it now appears that he considers the consequences of this to be perfectly manageable. He expects that “all Teslas produced will be sold” and demand will remain strong enough for the time being, despite the economic and logistical challenges that plague the brand. After all, there is not only a recession lurking; also the logistical process for the now more than 1 million Teslas that open the gates of the four giga factories bringing abandonment to the customers presents challenges for the brand.
Tesla Cybertruck
Musk predicts nothing that cannot be avoided. In the report on the Q3 results, the brand also states that the Cybertruck presented in 2019 will still be ready for a market launch in 2023, although the initial production start was planned for 2021. That car should make a significant contribution to the company’s goals, especially in the home market. Musk is targeting 10 to 20 million Teslas per year by the beginning of the next decade. This year, the brand is on course for total annual sales of roughly 1.4 million units.
