Empty the OneDrive Recycle Bin regularly. Then gone is really gone!

Deleted files in OneDrive? These end up in the Recycle Bin. Quickly restore accidentally deleted files and empty the Recycle Bin. The files are then permanently gone.

Empty the Recycle Bin in OneDrive like this:

  • Open the website www.onedrive.live.com and log in.
  • Click on the left Garbage can. This contains the files you deleted.
  • Check if the files are unnecessary. Can’t delete a file? Click on it and then on the top Put back.
  • Delete all (other) files? Click at the top Empty the trash > Yes.

OneDrive deletes the files. Attention: gone is gone!
