Worldwide sales figures have shown that Royal Enfield has two blockbusters with the launch of its very first twins, the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650. For model year 2023, the British Indians have released a very striking “Blackout” livery of both models.
Today Royal Enfield unveiled the new, enriched variants of the Continental GT and Interceptor at the Lyon Motor Show in France. The new variants of the Interceptor and Continental GT 650 are available in exciting new liveries and have improved functional and ergonomic features.
The Interceptor 650 is offered in two All-Black variants – Black Ray & Barcelona Blue. The new color options complement the existing community favorites Mark 2, Sunset Strip and Canyon Red.
Royal Enfield has also introduced two new All Black versions on the Continental GT 650: Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey. These are offered alongside the already popular colorways – MR Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green and Rocker Red.
All new liveries also have new functional and ergonomic features, such as improved seating comfort, new switchgear, a USB charging port and an all-new LED headlight.
The new All Black variants on the Interceptor and the Continental GT feature a black engine and exhaust. According to Enfield, this look makes the bike’s aesthetic even more special, and we wholeheartedly agree. In terms of looks, we think they are even bolder than the standard colors
What makes these bikes even more remarkable are the alloy wheels and tubeless tires that come standard on the All-Black variants of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.
“The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have been welcomed with open arms by avid motorcyclists all over the world. We are sure that customers will find the All-Black variants one more reason to want to ride these motorcycles, while the new functional upgrades contribute to an entertaining and enjoyable driving experience.”
Since its launch in September 2018, the 650 Twins have been extremely well received by motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide, and have played a key role in the brand’s global expansion and success in recent years.
A roadster par excellence, the Interceptor 650 has earned a special place in the hearts of connoisseurs around the world. This is evident from the award with various awards such as, even twice in a row, the MCN ‘Retro motorcycle of the year’.
The Continental GT 650 has become an exponent of café racing culture around the world and is at the forefront of India’s leading subcultures and communities.
The updated 650 All-Black Twins are available in European showrooms from today (February 23, 2023). Prices start at €9,199 for Interceptor 650 and €9,499 for Continental GT 650.
