Europe’s largest open accessible motorcycle festival, the European Bike Week returns to Faak am See in Austria, from 2 to 7 September 2025. This year the event continues the tradition with Harley-Davidson product presentations, driving experiences and live entertainment in the heart of the beautiful Carinthian landscape of Austria.
In the heart of the 40,000 m2 large Harley Village, the Harley-Davidson Expo presents the newest 2025 models in the Grand American Touring, Cruiser, Sport and Adventure Touring categories. The exclusive Fat Boy Gray Ghost is in the spotlight, a wonderful tribute to Willie G. Davidson’s designfyers and without a doubt one of the most distinctive motorcycles ever.
Adventurers will enjoy the Pan America Adventure Zone, with countless off-road challenges and exciting attractions. The site is run by Harley-Davidson instructors Ralf Wiesenfeller (Germany) and Marco Belli (Italy) and offers interested parties practical off-road training, dynamic test drives and demonstrations of experts at the America 1250 special. Rally legend Joan Pedrero (Spain) is also there again, for live demonstrations and question and answer sessions with riders.
Visitors who want to experience the newest Harley-Davidson models themselves can go to the demo zone, where a wide range of 2025 models is available for a test drive. For people without a motorcycle license, the Jumpstart simulator and racing simulator offer the chance to experience the kicks of real driving on a stationary Harley-Davidson.
In addition, free tours are provided by the Hog Carinthia Chapter on the beautiful mountain roads of Carinthia and Slovenia from Wednesday to Friday. Drivers, day trippers and fans find more than 100 sellers, eating and drinking stalls, custom builders and more, with something for every type of rider or festival visitor.
The party continues deep into the night, with more than 30 live bands in the Harley Bar and Saloon Bar. Count on energetic acts such as Stiletto, Kraig Nienhuis, Strongbow, Overlaps, Cindy & The Rock History and Fahrenheit, who perform all week. The nocturnal entertainment is reinforced by fire shows on Friday and Saturday evening.
Other highlights are the free accessible Custom Bike Show, proudly sponsored by Metzeler, which takes place on Friday 5 September on an exciting new location: the beautiful town of Villach, just a 20 -minute drive from the main event in Faak am See. Against the charming background of Villach’s paved Hauptplatz, which was closed to traffic for the occasion, the show promises to be an exciting experience for lovers of custom bikes.
Participants compete in six different categories: Tourer, Cruiser, Sport, Antique, Adventure & Off-Road and Radical Custom. Prizes are awarded for the first and second place in each category, in addition to special awards such as Best in Show, Metzeler’s People’s Choice Award (the Audience Award) and the Metzeler Judges’ Choice. The show is a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and community, in the beating heart of Villach.
The legendary Harley-Davidson Parade takes place on Saturday 6 September and takes some of the most beautiful iconic roads in the region. The Parade attracts thousands of engines and spectators and is a powerful celebration of freedom, unity and Harley-Davidson’s rich history.
