26 percent less compared to 2019
Instead of the expected growth, the European trade association ACEA now thinks that the car market in Europe will shrink by 1 percent by 2022. That would mean a dramatic decrease compared to pre-corona year 2019.
The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, which today no longer completely represents all European car manufacturers, is gloomy about 2022.
