The Galaxy S21 FE is already in the news worldwide, and it’s all thanks to the biggest leak up to now. Not only all the specifications but also the prices have surfaced. Screen and housing
As you can see in the table, Samsung uses FE and a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. That panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen.
The phone also has an aluminum frame and a polycarbonate back panel. The housing has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Cameras
The Galaxy S21 FE has a 12 MP main camera with dual pixel autofocus, OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. The phone also features a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera f/2.2 and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, autofocus, OIS, and an f/2.4 aperture. You can take selfies with the 32 MP camera. These cameras are pretty much the same as last year’s Galaxy S20 FE.
Performance and battery
Samsung gives the Galaxy S21 FE a Snapdragon 888 chipset and a battery of 4,500 mAh. The phone supports fast charging and can also charge other devices via reverse wireless charging. Samsung calls that PowerShare.
The Galaxy S21 FE will be offered in two storage options: 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage. Unfortunately, according to the source, this successor to the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition no longer has expandable storage, so you will have to make do with 128 GB or 256 GB storage memory.
Other specs worth mentioning include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC. USB-C and support for Samsung DEX. A 3.5 mm jack is missing. Samsung is likely to release the Galaxy S21 FE in Europe in four colors: Graphite, Olive, Lavender and White.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE price and launch
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to hit stores sometime this year, but has been rumored to have been delayed until January 4, 2022. The S22 launch would also move as a result. We hope Samsung will announce more about the actual launch soon.
