This is how you import stickers into WhatsApp
Surprising your friends with an animated sticker via WhatsApp is of course great fun, but the stock is not endless. Fortunately, you can now also import sticker packs from third parties. This way you can easily get a stack of new moving pictures at home. Adding sticker packs to WhatsApp is not difficult, but you must be running version 2.21.31.2 on your iPhone. So you may have to update the app before you can import new stickers.
This is how you proceed:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone;
- Search for ‘wastickers’;
- Install the sticker app of your choice;
- Within the app, select the sticker pack you want to use and tap ‘Send to WhatsApp’;
- Then click on ‘Save’.
You may need to close and reopen WhatsApp on your iPhone before the stickers are visible. From that moment on you will find the stickers in the usual place and you can send them immediately. Do you feel like being creative? Then you can also make your own stickers for WhatsApp.
