From now on 30 percent off for Goldmembers
Energy rates are falling again, and so are Fastned’s rates. Due to the strongly fluctuating energy prices, the provider of fast charging is now examining its rates on a monthly basis. Now it decides to lower it by just under 10 cents.
It has been two months since Fastned last changed its rates. Then almost 22 percent was added: the rate rose from €0.68 to €0.83 per kWh. After the prices were left unchanged in October, there is now good news for Fastned customers: the rates are falling again. From now on you pay 74 cents per kWh in the Netherlands.
Where the rates for Fastned Gold members – who pay €11.99 per month in subscription costs – were previously determined separately, they are now linked to the regular rates. From now on, they will be subject to a fixed price reduction of 30 percent over the regular rate, so they pay 51.8 cents per kWh. This reduction applies in every country where Fastned has its fast charging stations. In Belgium and Germany you now also pay €0.74 (regular rate), in France that is €0.59 per kWh. In Switzerland and the United Kingdom you pay 0.69 francs and 0.73 pounds respectively. At Fastned competitor Ionity, the rate remains €0.79 per kWh for the time being, a price that has been standing since the beginning of 2020. If you use an ANWB charging card, a kWh costs €0.83 for fast charging – although with that card you still pay the rate of those providers at Ionity and Fastned stations, so it is cheaper.
