Due to rising energy prices

Energy prices continue to rise, which is why Fastned is forced to increase charging rates. It will also review its rates on a monthly basis.
Fastned used the same charging rates for a long time, but increased them last November for the first time in five years. Now the prices have to be tinkered with again. Fastned will increase its rates with effect from Monday. This is due to rising energy prices in Europe, the company reports. Because the energy markets are uncertain, the company will review the rates on a monthly basis and adjust them if necessary.
Specifically, it concerns the standard rates in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. In France, this rate remains unchanged. The rate for the United Kingdom will be adjusted on September 1. For season ticket holders, the rates will go up in all countries on Monday. In concrete terms, this means that you now pay a standard rate of €0.68 per kWh at Fastned. People with a Gold Membership have lost €0.45 per kWh, on top of a monthly amount of €11.99.
Charging at Fastned is therefore almost as expensive as it was in November. Then you lost €0.69 per kWh. On 1 July, however, prices went down somewhat to €0.62 per kWh, due to the VAT reduction on energy. So now something is added.
