The Ferrari Monza is normally a bizarre creation, but there is always more that can be done with it. Novitec has gotten its hands dirty and has changed a bit, especially under the striking carriage.
Just a refresher: Ferrari pulled the curtain off the Monza SP1 and SP2 about two years ago. An open one-seater (SP1) or two-seater (SP2) with a thick 6.5-liter V12 in the nose. Good for 810 horsepower of open fun, with some aerodynamic cleverness right in front of the handlebars to keep your face from being ripped off your skull. The 4.66 meter long Monza takes its inspiration from the 750 Monza and 850 Monza from the 50s and it looks spectacular all in all.
Novitec took it off and that mainly leads to an interesting increase in power. A new exhaust system provides 34 hp and 61 Nm extra. This means that the V12 now squeezes 844 hp and 780 Nm. According to Novitec good for a 0-100 acceleration that is over in 2.8 seconds. One tenth faster than before. The special thing is that Novitec has used gold in the new exhaust system (see photo 5). This should ensure that it can handle higher temperatures more easily. Because the eye also wants something, the German tuner has furthermore designed three new wheels, which are produced by Vossen. 21 “at the front, 22” at the rear. It is not yet known what all this beauty costs. For an owner of a Ferrari Monza it will undoubtedly be small change.
