V12 boosts state treasury
Ferrari’s relative sales hit has received a Dutch price that AutoWeek can tell you exclusively. Ferrari’s long-legged SUV-like with a powerful V12 costs at least half a million euros in the Netherlands.
The Ferrari Purosangue has a bare European starting price of €390,000, but in the Netherlands there is a hefty shovel of bpm on top. The Ferrari Purosangue has a price of – don’t be alarmed – €504,930 in the Netherlands. A huge ditch of money, of course, but you do get a sporty SUV-like in return that has an almost rare violent powertrain in 2023.
Unlike stablemates such as the 296 GTB and GTS, the Ferrari Purosangue does not have a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a V6 or a V8 like the Roma and Portofino M, but a powerful 6.5-liter V12. That twelve-cylinder produces 725 hp and 716 Nm without electrical interference. That V12 is of course the main reason that the Ferrari Purosangue costs more than half a million euros in the Netherlands. The Purosangue is more expensive in the Netherlands than the 812 GTS, the ‘least expensive’ version of the 812. The 812 also has a V12 under the hood and costs more than €710,000 in its most violent open form as the Competizione A.
The V12 helps the Purosangue to a speed of 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The top speed of Ferrari’s long-legged is a not so bad 310 km / h. We have already driven the Ferrari Purosangue. How that went, you can see and read here.
