We consider the chance that you are in need of power in the 620 hp Ferrari Roma just as great as Tesla spoons a monster diesel into the Model 3. For those few who still want more, tuner Novitec now has a solution.
Although the Ferrari Roma is a purebred GT, the performance is by no means childish. The well-known 3.9-liter V8 stamps 620 hp and 760 Nm to the rear wheels, but that is not enough for everyone. Tuner Novitec comes with a power cure that boosts the power of the Roma to 704 hp and 882 Nm of torque.
With its increased muscle mass, Novitecs Roma sprints to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. A standard copy takes 0.2 seconds longer for this. The top speed is ‘somewhere north’ of 325 km/h, according to the tuner. The extra muscle power comes from, among other things, a rewritten engine management system, although Novitec also has modified exhaust systems on the shelves in various degrees.
Novitec has of course developed an extensive range of carbon fiber exterior extras for the Roma. For example, you can get the Italian with a grille made of that lightweight stuff, but you can also opt for carbon fiber side mirror caps and a rear spoiler made of that material. If you want, you can also press Roma a few centimeters closer to the asphalt. By tuner standards it remains remarkably subtle.
