Ferrari SF90: plug-in hybrid supersport less expensive than Purosangue

Also today, AutoWeek can report you an exclusive set of new Dutch prices from Ferrari. This time the Ferrari SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider are on the price podium. What seems? Those plug-in hybrid supersports are less expensive than SUV Purosangue.

Previously, AutoWeek could exclusively tell you the Dutch price of the Ferrari Purosangue. The Purosangue is mainly struck by its mighty 6.5 V12 by the Dutch bpm monster that knows no remorse. The Italian costs just over half a million euros in the Netherlands, making it the most expensive exotic in the Ferrari stable after the 812 Competizione (€623,667) and 812 Competizione A (€710,440). Even the brand’s most powerful and most powerful two-seater with plug-in hybrid powertrain is ‘less expensive’ than the Purosangue, although the price difference is negligible, certainly in these price regions. The SF90 duo owes its lower price to its plug-in hybrid powertrain with lower emissions on paper.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is in the Netherlands after an extremely subtle price increase of €1,427 for €454,303 on the Dutch price list. The open version of that four-wheel drive plug-in hybrid two-seater listens to the name Ferrari SF90 Spider and costs €495,710 from now on. The SF90s, like the 296 GTB and 296 GTS, are equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, although it is a completely different one. Where the 296s have a 2.9 V6 behind the front seats, a 4.0 V8 with two turbos roars in the Ferraris SF90. Regardless of the version, the Ferrari SF90 has two electric motors and also has an electric motor in the eight-speed automatic transmission. The 296s are rear-wheel drive in all cases.

The difference in power between the Ferrari SF90 and the 296s is therefore considerable. Where the Ferrari 296 GTB and GTS releases a system power of 830 hp to the rear wheels, the powertrain of the SF90 sends 1,000 hp to the asphalt. Its 7.9 kWh battery is good for an electric range of 26 kilometers. The 296 GTB and 296 GTS have a 7.45-kWh battery that gives the two-seaters a comparable electric range.
