Nice parking

Ferrari presents a new creation with ‘SP’ in the name. This has nothing to do with the upcoming House of Representatives elections, but everything to do with transport that is almost unaffordable for many. SP stands for Special Projects and the Ferrari SP-8 is also very special.
Ferrari has a pretty insane profit margin and you can bet that the Special Projects have an important share in that. After all, these are unique creations based on series production models, with a hefty price tag. Sometimes Ferrari even goes a step further, such as with the KC23 that it presented last summer. This brand new Ferrari SP-8 shows the basic car even better.
You don’t have to look twice at the Ferrari SP-8 to see that it’s essentially an F8 Spider underneath. At least, when you see it from the front. At the back, the SP-8 looks a bit like the 296 and even a bit like the Roma. The fusion of influences is further emphasized by the difference in color on the front and back. The front is painted in Blu Sandstone, the rear and most of the flanks in Argento Micalizzato.
Ferrari SP-8
In the interior it is unmistakable that the Ferrari F8 served as the basis, although we do see an important adjustment to the center tunnel. There you will find the automatic control with the ‘shift pattern’, as is also found in the SF90, for example. The seats are upholstered in navy blue Alcantara surrounded by strong contrasting yellow accents that also appear in the dashboard. As the name SP-8 already hints, there is an eight-cylinder behind the two seats. The same (probably 720 hp) 3.9 V8 with two turbos as in the F8. The Ferrari SP-8 goes to a customer in Taiwan for an – of course – undisclosed amount. We are curious whether that person will actually take it on the road or park it somewhere safely.
