Download first iOS 12 public beta
When iOS 12 was unveiled at WWDC 2018, Apple promised a public beta would be released before the end of June. Two developer betas have now appeared and now it is the turn of the public testers for the first time. Always make a backup first

Install the iOS 12 beta
To download the beta, complete the following steps.
- Go to the Apple beta website through your iOS device;
- Log in with your Apple ID;
- On the beta site, tap ‘Enroll your iOS device’ under ‘Get started’;
- On the new page, choose ‘Download Profile’;
- In the Settings that now open, choose ‘Install’, after which you go through the steps.
The device must be restarted to install the beta profile. Now you can actually install the beta version of iOS 12. You do this the way you normally download updates. Go to ‘Settings> General> Software Update’ and start the installation.
