The popular Dutch app Flitsmeister has been given a major update. The design has been overhauled, and it is now also possible to navigate with spoken instructions. We list the three innovations of Flitsmeister 7.0.
1. Navigate with spoken instructions
It was already possible to navigate to locations with Flitsmeister, such as to your home or work location, but in version 7.0 the function will be further expanded. New are the spoken instructions, which you hear when you actually carry out the instruction. Because the Flitsmeister app ‘talks’ to you while driving, you (hopefully) have to look at the screen of your iPhone less often. That is of course also a lot safer.
2. New design
Perhaps more importantly, the design of the Flitsmeister app has been improved. The application mainly looks a bit clearer, because there is more space for the map. For this, the developers have moved the screens of warnings, speed indicators and travel times in a different place. As a result, the map of Flitsmeister is not covered by information that is slightly less important at that moment.
3. Other minor improvements
With the previous version of Flitsmeister, users could already share their arrival time and location. Handy if you want to let your friends and / or family know where you are by car at that time. New is that others can now also see how fast you are driving, from which they can see, for example, whether you are standing still, stuck in a traffic jam or on the road again.
