The fine photo editing app Snapseed has received an update. It is now possible to edit photos faster by saving a series of settings as a Snapseed look.

Snapseed look

Snapseed is the cool photo editing app from Google, which gives you a lot of options to adjust images. The app has now received a nice update, making editing photos a lot faster. If you use the app you may notice that you constantly go for the same set of settings. For example, that one vintage filter, a little ‘drama’, crop to a square, increase the brightness a little and so on. Repeating this route with every photo is unnecessary work. That is why it is no longer necessary.

Once you’ve made a series of edits, you can save this route as a look. Think of it as a kind of filter in which all the settings you have saved can be automatically applied to a new photo. You can save by pressing the icon at the top of the screen with the two squares and the arrow. Previously, this button was only used to undo edits that have been made. If you tap it now, you will also find the option to save the look, find your saved looks and create a qr look.

Because you don’t have to keep your specific series of edits to yourself. You can also share these via a qr code. For example, you can apply the looks of others to your photos by scanning their qr code via Snapseed. Or you share your settings with others. It is useful to achieve unity in a series of photos in this way.
