Ford is about to expand the Ecosport delivery range with the bold Ecosport Active. Unfortunately for the brand, the first images of that cleaned up Ecosport are already on the street.
The Spanish Autonoción has the first images of the already announced Ford Ecosport Active surfaced. Ford announced earlier this month the arrival of the adventurous Ecosport. An official debut is therefore not long in coming.
Ford already supplies Active versions of the Fiesta, the Focus and the discontinued Ka + also had such a coolly decorated version. It is therefore no surprise that the Ford Ecosport Active follows the recipe of those models. We see an Ecosport that is fitted with extra black plastic all around. The material is around the wheel arches and in both the front and rear bumpers. It doesn’t look as intense as the Ecosport Storm, which is available in Brazil and elsewhere, but that might also be a bit too much. The Ecosport Active is probably just like its Active brothers and sisters about two centimeters higher on its legs than the regular Ecosport. The interior is apparently decorated with (fake) leather upholstery where the ‘A’ of ‘Active’ is applied.
Ford Ecosport Storm (Brazil)
Ford currently supplies the Ecosport in the Netherlands as Connected, Titanium, ST-Line and ST-Line Black. The Ecosport Active will probably only be available in combination with the 125 hp 1.0 Ecoboost. The 100 hp Ecoboost power source is reserved for the entry-level Connected version. The Ecosport Active will be presented on 6 November, so please be patient.
