Ford did an experiment on social media. The brand allowed fans to choose what a special edition of the Puma ST should look like through polls. This is the result of all tunings: the Puma ST Gold Edition.
On Ford Europe’s social media channels, followers were able to vote on the make-up of the special Puma ST. In total, a quarter of a million votes were cast, with fans choosing the color of the bodywork, brake calipers and stitching in the interior. They were also able to express their opinion about the type of striping and the type designation on the exterior and the door sills. Finally, one could also choose the name. The choice fell on Puma ST Gold Edition. Another option was ‘Puma ST 24K Edition’.

In any case, the name of the special edition is clearly reflected in the color scheme. The body is finished in black and two silver-colored racing stripes with a gold edge run over the entire length of the car. In addition, the wheels are painted gold and red brake calipers are visible behind the wheels. In the interior, the theme continues with gold stripes and stitching on the black seats and the door panels are also finished with gold stitching. Ford applied a layer of carbon fiber to the dashboard.
The Puma ST Gold Edition differs from the regular Puma ST only in cosmetic terms. Under the hood is still the 200 hp 1.5 EcoBoost three-cylinder turbo. The special version will be released in a limited edition later this year. The price is not known yet.
