Ford wanted to do something different than usual for once, so its designers teamed up with Ford’s e-sports team, Fordzilla. The goal was to create a spectacular virtual race car. This Fordzilla P1 Concept is the result.
Major brands are increasingly looking at the game world and that occasionally leads to spectacular concepts. For example, over the years we have seen a whole series of cars specially designed for the Gran Turismo game. There is a good chance that this Ford will also be able to drive it, although Ford does not yet know in which specific game the car will be available.
For now, we can already admire the Fordzilla P1 in these photos. And admiring is in order, because it looks special. Ford sat down with Fordzilla and also let other gamers share their wishes for the car. Eventually two designs rolled out of the design department of the brand, of which this one – by Arturo Ariño – rolled out of the Twitter poll with great force majeure.
Although the whole looks futuristic, Ford emphasizes that the design has looked at the Ford GT with an oblique eye. We can get into that. The rear may be a bit too much, but in general a Ford GT anno 2040 can be imagined in it. As mentioned, it is not yet known in which game the Fordzilla will be able to drive and Ford is also silent in all languages about the powertrain. It does let us know that the concept car will soon be reproduced in real size, which can be admired before the end of the year.
