Due to the pandemic, the Formula 1 calendar has been completely overhauled again. Among other things, the return of the Turkish GP is now official and the (provisionally) last three races of the year have been scheduled.
Due to the corona virus, it is quite a compromise for Formula 1 this year to still achieve a full season. At the beginning of July, the campaign could finally start in Austria and since then the then relatively empty calendar has already been supplemented. Now four more races are added.
To start with the biggest news: for the first time since 2011, Formula 1 will return to Turkey this year. Istanbul Park, the Circuit that was also used at the time, will be the setting for the Turkish GP on the weekend of November 15. Two weeks later, F1 lands in Bahrain for two consecutive racing weekends on the track there. First (on November 29) the GP of Bahrain will be held, followed by the GP of Sakhir on December 6. Finally, Formula 1 confirms that it will travel to Abu Dhabi again before the season finale, where the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be held on 13 December.
