Are you sure that a message reaches someone else completely and without adjustments? In Outlook, attach it to another message.
Why as an attachment?
The fastest way to forward an email is via the ‘Forward’ button. But there is a disadvantage: you can (accidentally) change the message. Do you want to be sure or prove that a message arrives at someone else’s mailbox as it was in your own mailbox? Or do you want to send multiple emails? Then add the email(s) as an attachment to a message.
Add message as attachment
- In the Outlook program, double-click the e-mail.
- Click the button with the three dots at the top right of the email.
- click on Forward as attachment.
- A new, blank email message opens. The first email is attached to this message. Enter the recipient’s email address, subject and content of the email.
- click on Send.
Tip: do you receive important emails? Then forward them in this way to, for example, a second e-mail address of yours or the e-mail address of a confidant.
Send multiple emails as attachments
- Create a new email. To do this, click on the ‘Home’ tab on new e-mail.
- Click on the tab Insert.
- click on Outlook item. If this is not there, click on the three dots at the top right and then on Outlook item.
- In the ‘Insert item’ window, click on the email you want to send as an attachment. Do you want to send multiple emails? Then click on the emails while holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard.
- click on OK.
- The emails are attached to the message. Enter the recipient’s email address, subject and content of the email.
- click on Send.
