It would be an understatement to say that Kawasaki has shaken up the supersport market this year with the introduction of the Ninja ZX-4RR, which has breathed new life into the once hugely popular 400 segment. For model year 2025, this one-off Ninja will be available in a new Kawasaki Racing Team livery.
The Ninja ZX-4RR has, as Kawasaki sales statistics have shown, had an enormous appeal this year to both the supersport riders of yesteryear and new riders. And we understand why: for the old-timers among us, the ZX-4 reminds us of the glorious days of the ZXR400, CBR400RR, VFR400, GSX-R400 and FZR400, while for the new generation, the ZX-4RR is still too much of a man’s supersport. And a particularly beautiful one at that.
No expense has been spared in the area of handling either. High-quality SHOWA suspension at the front (which is too light for track use, but that’s beside the point), an adjustable ZX-10R shock absorber at the rear (which is very suitable for track use), monobloc brake calipers and a WorldSBK-inspired frame ensure sharp handling and plenty of confidence. To underline the sporting aspirations of the Ninja ZX-4RR, the full-colour TFT display is equipped with a Track Mode that shows lap times and engine speeds from 10,000 rpm.
The 2025 Ninja ZX-4RR will be available at Kawasaki dealers from mid-October in the new Kawasaki Racing Team livery. Prices will be announced soon.
