If you have run out of space in your mailbox, use Gmail’s advanced search feature to easily identify the emails that are taking up the most space so you can delete them.
Are you overwhelmed with e-mails and lack of space in your inbox? You have to react and Gmail, Google’s mailbox, has many tools to help you. To do this, log into your account from your laptop or desktop machine as you will have a more comfortable display. On the other hand, some functions are not available on the mobile application.
Launch your browser and go to the site mail.google.com to connect you.
Gmail has an area at the top of the main window for doing simple searches, but you can take it a step further. Click on the triangle icon at the end of the box and you will be taken to an advanced search form. In particular, you can search for all the heaviest emails by specifying a minimum size in the Size section. In the example below, we have specified a size greater than 1 MB. Then click on the button To research.

The affected messages are then displayed and you can easily delete them to save space.
The advanced search feature also has other fields to make your searches easier and eliminate emails you no longer need. For example, you can search for all messages containing a specific name in their Object. This can come in handy for cleaning up the newsletters you have received.
Finally, you might have some unread messages that are cluttering your mailbox. To identify them, click on the drop-down list in the area To research and choose Unread messages in the list.

Then click on the button To research to view messages that you have not yet read.
