Google Pixel 6 in the Netherlands
Google presented its Pixel 6 series on October 4. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are high-end phones and can be ordered through various providers. In this article you will find out where you can purchase the phones, but that will not be in the Netherlands and Belgium. Like the previous Nexus and Pixel phones, these new high-end smartphones have not been announced here. That means that they are officially not for sale here either, although the gray channel always knows how to import them here. So you can get it via these webshops, but at an additional cost.
We asked Google Netherlands for a response regarding the availability of the Pixel phones in the Benelux and received the following response: “Due to various factors, including global demand and supply issues, we are unable to make our products available in all markets. to set.”

Supply and demand
The global chip shortage could be one reason why the Pixel 6 series is only available in the Google Store in eight countries, including France, Germany and the United Kingdom. It is also possible that the demand is simply higher than the supply, or that the supply is simply too small. We will not know the correct answer. Google reaffirms what it also said here: “There is indeed a high demand for Pixel devices, with some models already sold out. We are doing our very best to deliver Pixels to everyone who wants one.”
All this does not explain why the smartphones were not released in our country in the years before the corona pandemic, but the search giant does not make any further statements about this.
Look into the future
What Google does make statements about is the availability of the phones in the future: “We remain committed to our current Pixel phones and look forward to bringing future Pixel devices to more countries in the future.” That’s a nice statement that unfortunately we can’t do anything with. Why the Google Pixel 6 is not available in the Netherlands? So we don’t get an unequivocal answer to that. For now there is no other option than to purchase the Pixel telephones in Germany or via Belsimpel.
