This afternoon at 16.00 pm it’s time! Then the entire Androidworld editorial team is ready to watch the Made by Google 2022 livestream with you. The livestream can be found below and you can watch it on your phone, tablet, PC or TV (via your Chromecast).
What can you expect?
First of all, we get to see the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro this afternoon. Those will be high-end smartphones with excellent cameras. The most important news today is hopefully the arrival of both Google phones to the Netherlands. T-Mobile recently teased the arrival of something special on October 6, including an image called ‘GoogleP7PWindow165x250cm_S-AMS-Tease.jpg’. Fingers crossed!
Google is also going to announce its Pixel Watch. The Pixel Watch will focus on health and wellness, smarthome and the Google Assistant. In addition, the smartwatch runs on Wear OS and the watch integrates with Fitbit.
We may also get to see a new Nest Hub with a detachable screen, and Google will tell you more about the Google Pixel tablet that we already saw briefly in a teaser. The tablet is slated to launch in 2023, but you never know with Google.
On Tuesday, Google also announced the Nest Wifi Pro. That is a router that works with the WiFi 6 standard and will be for sale from October 27 from 219.99 euros. The United States was shown a new smart doorbell, the wired Nest Doorbell. We may be told today whether and when we can also expect this smart doorbell in the Netherlands and Belgium.
