“Google Pixel 7 Pro specification list leaked: this is what you can expect”

The specs of the Pixel 7 Pro have been leaked, and the phone doesn’t seem to differ much from its predecessor in terms of hardware. Presumably, Google mainly wants to make a difference with software, thanks to the computing power of the second generation of the Tensor chipset.

Google Pixel 7 Pro specs

The Made by Google event is getting closer, and now that we know that the Pixel 7 series and possibly the Pixel Watch is coming to the Netherlands, the tension has increased. Pixel 7 Pro specs have now been leaked by rumor spreader Yogesh Brar on Twitter. The hardware of the Pixel 7 Pro hardly differs on paper from its predecessor.

The phone will have a 6.7-inch OLED panel. It is an LTPO display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Furthermore, Google equips the phone with the second generation of its Tensor chipset, about which further details are missing.

The rear camera remains unchanged on paper, as it still includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP wide-angle camera and a 48MP telephoto camera. Earlier it was leaked that Google this time opts for a persicoop camera developed by Samsung, instead of the Sony sensor. The Pixel 7 Pro is still called an 11 MP selfie camera.

Uncertainty about fast charging

In addition, of course, the phone runs on Android 13 and the phone still runs with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. There is also a 5,000 mAh battery again and Yogesh Brar talks about “30W fast charging”.

It is unknown whether this concerns the specifications of the charger or the phone itself. Earlier it was announced that the Pixel 6 series charges at most with a power of 23W, despite the 30W fast charger in the box. The phone also supports wireless charging again.

If we compare all these specifications with the features of the Pixel 6 Pro, the only improvements are the new Tensor chip along with the new telephoto camera. Presumably, Google mainly wants to make a difference with the software of the Pixel 7 series, and then we think of smart functions that work with artificial intelligence. Nothing has been leaked on that front yet. Are you looking forward to the Pixel 7 launch on October 6, or have you mainly launched in other products? Let us know in the comments.
