The Google Pixel 8a has an aluminum frame with a matte plastic back and rounded corners. The 6.1-inch OLED screen with Gorilla Glass 3 has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with 1080 x 2400 pixels and provides a smooth, clear and colorful image under all conditions. It runs on a Google Tensor G3 processor, has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and that is a great set: the Pixel 8a works fast and smoothly. The operating system is Android 14, including AI features, and comes with 7 years of Android and security updates! In addition to the standard functions, unlocking works with an optical finger sensor in the glass and extra secure facial recognition. The stereo sound sounds fine.

On the back is a bright (F1.9) 64MP Quad main camera with 2x optical zoom and a 13MP wide angle (F2.2). The selfie camera has an F2.2 lens and 13MP. The many camera functions provide additional options for adjusting and improving the quality of the photo. Many AI features are also available, including Magic Eraser and Magic Editor. The quality of the recorded images in this price segment is good. The 4500 mAh battery provides approximately 24 hours of battery life with standard use.

The Pixel 8a is a mid-range device with a solid appearance, excellent image and good processing power. What is striking for this price range are the cameras and the 7 years of updates.
