Rumors about the Google Pixel Watch have already surfaced, but more information about Google’s very first smartwatch has surfaced today. These are the latest rumours.
Google Pixel Watch: What’s in the Box?
A Taiwanese provider has temporarily shown the Pixel Watch from Google on its website. Soon after, the product was removed again, but the screenshots were already taken and shared in this Telegram channel. Parts of these images were already known, but we also see some new ones.
For example, there’s a ‘what’s in the box’ graphic that shows that there are bigger and smaller bands in the box of the Pixel Watch. We know that from the Fitbit wearables. So there is no one-size-fits-all strap with which Samsung and others provide their watches. The charger is also clearly visible in the picture. We see the recognizable round shape including a USB-C connection.
Google Pixel Watch: this is how long the battery lasts
The other images show how to use the smartwatch pair. we see too Fitbit integration and the SOS app, and an image about battery life. The Pixel Watch will last 24 hours according to this screenshot.
Google Pixel Watch: new Wear OS apps
Yet another image shows icons of Gmail, Google Calendar, Maps, Wallet and Assistant. So far, Google hasn’t released any apps for Gmail or Calendar for Wear OS. So it looks like two official Google apps are coming to the smartwatch platform. The other three apps are already there for Wear OS.
Launch Google Pixel Watch
Google will officially unveil the Pixel Watch along with the Pixel 7 smartphones on October 6, and the smartwatch will cost $349 in the United States. Orderers of a Pixel 7 would receive a free Pixel Watch.
