Whine to 11,100 rpm

The English Gordon Murray Automotive has presented a new piece of automotive pleasure. This is the T.33 Spider, an open bon vivant with a 670 hp strong V12 that does not even have to propel 900 kilos.
The name Gordon Murray is a big one in the car world. Murray is jointly responsible for the design of the legendary McLaren F1 and was at the cradle of a huge range of Formula 1 cars from Brabham and McLaren, among others. In the form of the unimaginatively called Gordon Murray Automotive, Murray also has its own brand. You won’t see compact city cars or SUVs with three rows of seats from the company. Gordon Murray Automotive previously presented the T.50 and a track version, the slightly milder T.33. Now it comes with the T.33 Spider.
The T33 Spider is – you’ll never guess – based on the closed T.33. Like the closed T.33, the T.33 Spider has a 617 hp and 451 Nm powerful 3.9 V12 from Cosworth behind the seats that you can let yourself howl until the tachometer reaches 11,100 rpm. The aluminum twelve-cylinder weighs only 178 kilos, making it the lightest V12 in a road car. Switching is always done with a manual gearbox in the T.33 Spider. The car weight of the T.33 Spider is 1,108 kilos, which makes it only 18 kilos heavier than its close brother.

The T.33 Spider has two removable roof panels that you can store under the front cover. Striking are the two 90-liter storage compartments that are located under the rear screens and which are accessible by opening the relevant screens.
Can you see yourself cruising around in a T.33 Spider this summer? Then be quick: there will only be 100 of them.
