Start head massage

  1. Take a comfortable attitude while sitting or lying down, for example a meditation seat.
  2. At the beginning you can smell your scalp gently. Similar to washing hair, the scalp is stimulated here. Use all fingers and make slow circular movements.
  3. Pull very easily on individual hair parts. You should do that gently so that it is relaxing and not painful.
  4. With the index finger you can trace the hairline from the ear to the middle of the forehead and back again. The other hand can gently rest on the skull or on the other ear.

Massage along the ears

  1. Take your earlobes between the thumb and index finger. Explore light pressure so that your earlobes are pressed in. After a few seconds you can let go and then reinforce the pressure. Repeat this a few times. You can also add small circular movements to the pressure.
  2. With the earlobe between the thumb and index finger you can pull gently on your ear. This can also be done in other places along the outside edge of your ear.
  3. Massage the bony elevation directly behind the ears with the index fingers. From here you can continue hiking with the index fingers to lower ones and along the neck.

Massage the neck and temples
