Delivery starts early next year

The new Opel Astra
Opel presents the all-new sixth-generation Astra. Opel supplies the new Astra with a choice of two plug-in hybrid variants. The range also includes highly efficient petrol and diesel variants. The order books will open next fall.
In terms of design, the new Astra makes a clear statement. The model looks more dynamic than ever with its clean surfaces, without superfluous elements, and the new Opel Vizor family face.
The new Opel Astra will be launched this year as a five-door hatchback with a low profile and yet more space than its predecessor. The luggage compartment with an adjustable floor still offers the driver and his four passengers 422 liters of load capacity.
The interior of the new Astra has undergone significant evolution. With the digital Pure Panel, analog instruments are a thing of the past. Instead, customers can expect a completely new, intuitive cockpit experience with fresh, modern graphics and smartphone-like operation via the wide touchscreens.
The new Opel Astra is the first to come on the market with an electrified drive. Right from launch, there is a choice of two plug-in hybrid variants and efficient petrol and diesel engines, with power ratings ranging from 81 kW (110 hp) to 165 kW (225 hp). A six-speed manual transmission is standard on the petrol and diesel engines, while an eight-eight automatic is available as an option for the more powerful variants. Both plug-in hybrids come standard with an electrified 8-speed automatic transmission.
The order books for the new Opel Astra will open next autumn. Delivery will start early next year. More information will follow in the run-up to the market launch.
