There is a good chance that you will soon see dozens or perhaps hundreds of Uber Teslas and Polestars driving around in Amsterdam. Before 2025, Uber will have access to a total of 25,000 electric cars from rental company Hertz in European capitals.
Hertz and Uber have a large-scale collaboration in North America, which the two companies are now continuing in Europe. Hertz will make electric cars available to Uber drivers in European capitals. It is not about a small number of EVs from brands such as Tesla and Polestar. Hertz plans to make 25,000 electric cars available to Uber by 2025.
London is the first European capital where Hertz is making a whole range of EVs available to Uber drivers. Amsterdam and Paris are the next cities where Uber drivers will soon be able to use electric cars via Hertz. Further details will follow later.
