Honda’s most popular touring engine, the NT1100, gets a fresh look with three new colors for model year 2026. After last year’s major update, Honda is limited to visual renewal this time – but that will not surprise anyone.
The NT1100 was introduced in 2022 as a modern interpretation of the classic touring engine: comfortable, practical, but with the driving pleasure that you expect from Honda. With its 1,084 cc Paralleltwin, originating from the Africa Twin, and the choice between a conventional gearbox or Honda’s DCT transmission, the NT1100 managed to bind a loyal lovers in a short time.
According to Honda, the NT1100 is now the best -selling touring engine in Europe. In total, more than 20,000 copies were sold, of which more than 5,000 pieces alone in 2025 – good for almost half of all touring engines that changed ownership in Europe this year. That sounds impressive, but to be honest: he hardly has any real competition anymore. For most brands, the traditional tour segment has given way to the popular high potters, making the NT1100 a rare appearance of its kind – a real tour motor in a classic sense.
Thorough update in 2025
For model year 2025, the NT1100 received a big freshening up. The styling was tightened with, among other things, Daytime Running Lights and integrated direction indicators, while the adjustable windshield was refined for more comfort on long journeys.
