Summer mystery

Honda shows a shadowy design sketch of a new SUV that it will introduce to the public in the summer of this year. The newcomer seems to be very similar to the HR-V.
The Auto Expo is currently underway in India, which is the opportunity for car manufacturers operating in the huge country to attract attention with new models. Honda is not yet ready to present its newcomer, but is already releasing a dark design sketch.
On the design sketch we see an SUV-like that seems to have quite a few similarities with the HR-V. Worldwide, Honda sells the HR-V in various shapes and sizes, spread over various joint ventures and with many different model names. So we wouldn’t be surprised if Honda also brings the HR-V – which is not yet for sale in India – to India in a subtly modified form. In any case, the compact, long-legged Honda has a front bumper that we do not know from the HR-V and we see round fog pits in the bumper. We have not yet seen that on the HR-V either. There is also a chance that Honda will prepare a completely new model for the Indian market.
In short: it is still a mystery, but one that will be solved in the summer of this year. Then Honda pulls the curtain off its Indian newcomer. Incidentally, Honda is not forgetting the European market this year either. It comes not only with the European version of the new CR-V, but also with an electric equivalent of the HR-V and with a completely new model that nestles between the HR-V and the CR-V: the ZR- v.
