A family member is looking for building land. Now he has seen a nice piece of land, but high voltage cables run above it. Is this a serious health hazard or other factors?
Answer
The discussion is comparable to that about the danger of mobile phone radiation. There is no evidence of harmful influence, nor any indication that it could be harmful based on the interaction of that radiation with matter. Rest assured, if there was any risk, such masts would be banned immediately.
Many people prefer to play it safe, but I think the depreciation of building land under a high-voltage cable has more to do with the aesthetic aspect than with safety.
