People in our society do indeed drink purer water than eg. animals. I think this is because animals, unlike us, don’t have access to clean water. Our drinking water is free from parasites, germs, sand, algae, harmful substances,… Because every animal species prefers not to get sick, we prefer to drink the purest water available. Animals do not have this choice and must drink the water they have access to.

How does one explain that man demands purer water than the animals that surround us?
