Answer
Dear Karst,
The approximate number of liters of water in the Pacific Ocean can be calculated by multiplying the surface area (165 200 000 km²) of the Ocean and the average depth (4280m) together. Then you get 707 056 000 000 000 000 m³. That’s a huge number, of course. We know that 1 m³ is equal to 1000 liters of water, so you end up with 707 056 000 000 000 000 or 707 trillion liters of water in the Pacific Ocean.
