Open a Google Chrome window, then in the address bar, type chrome: // flags. The browser should display the page dedicated to the experimental features of Chrome.

2. Activate the flag
In the search box of the Chrome flags page, search for PDF Viewer Update.

The option should automatically appear in the results. Then click on the Default button, and change its value to Enabled.

Then restart the browser by clicking on the Relaunch button that appeared after changing the setting.
3. Open your PDFs in Chrome
To test what’s new in Chrome’s PDF reader, open a document in the browser, by dragging and dropping the file directly into Chrome.

On Windows, you can customize the settings so that your machine automatically opens PDF files in Chrome. To do this, click on the Start button, enter Settings, and go to the Applications menu.

Then go to the section devoted to Default applications, scroll through the options and enter the menu Choose default applications by file type.

All you have to do is scroll through the list of existing file formats to .pdf format and then click on the program selected by default to replace it with Google Chrome.
