Some internet connection problems can be solved by manually changing the DNS settings on your device.
DNS (Domain Name System) are servers intended to convert the addresses of the websites you visit into IP addresses. They are the ones who redirect your request to the correct server IP and connect you there when you enter the full address of a website.
Usually provided automatically by your Internet service provider, these DNS servers can in certain cases be the cause of accessibility problems to certain areas of the net: connection slowness on certain services, difficulty accessing certain sites, censorship, etc. Here’s how to change DNS servers on iPhone or iPad:
1. Go to Settings
Open iPhone Settings, then in Wi-Fi, press the “i” button for the network you’re connected to.

2. Configure DNS
Enter the Configure DNS menu, then change the setting to Manual mode. Tap on the red minus signs to delete the existing DNS.
Then touch the green + button to add your primary DNS server, then repeat the operation to add the secondary DNS server. Then save your changes by pressing the appropriate button.
