Clear cookies and the history of sites you have visited from the browser integrated into the Facebook application on iPhone or Android.
When browsing the web from your web browser, you can quite easily choose to delete your browsing data. In a few clicks, the history of the sites you have visited and the cookies that have been placed on your machine to monitor your activities and know your habits (for example, the number of times you have visited a site in the month, etc.) can be deleted.
But what about the browsing data collected by the web browser integrated into the Facebook mobile app? When you click on a link shared on the social network, the browser integrated into the application works in the same way: a browsing history is created, and the many cookies and trackers gleaned during your visits are kept.
However, it is possible to clean the data of the Facebook browser.
1. Open App Settings
Open the app on your smartphone and unfold the main Facebook menu to access the App Settings.

2. Clear browsing data
Then scroll through all the options offered to the section dedicated to Media and Contacts. Enter Browser and tap Clear browsing data.

Your browsing history, but also the many cookies saved when you clicked on a link from the social network, will be automatically deleted.
Do not hesitate to repeat the operation often enough to limit the possibility for the sites consulted from the platform, to track you down.
