Allow your loved ones to connect to your Wi-Fi network without having to give them your password.
Sharing your Wi-Fi password with multiple guests can quickly turn into a nightmare. You must first find that old piece of paper on which you have scribbled the password, before trying to decipher it.
If owners of iOS devices can share their Wi-Fi password very easily, those with Android will, in principle, have no choice but to enter the code manually.
However, there is a very easy way to share your login code with your guests, without them having to enter it on their device. By generating a QR Code including all the necessary instructions, your guests will only have to flash it to connect to your Internet box.
1. Go to Qifi
Open your web browser and go to the Qifi (pure JS WiFi QR Code Generator) website. This free online service generates a connection QR Code that will allow your guests to connect to your home Wi-Fi from their smartphone without having to enter a code.

2. Configure your connection settings
To generate your QR Code, it requires the name of your Wi-Fi (SSID) as well as your connection password. In the SSID field, enter the name of your Wi-Fi network, strictly respecting the case (lowercase and uppercase).
By default, the selected encryption type, WPA / WPA2 is the correct one. If this is not the case with your connection, modify it. Then enter your Wi-Fi password in the Key field. You can make sure you don’t make any mistakes by clicking on the eye icon to display your password in plain text.
If you have voluntarily chosen to hide your SSID at your home, check the box Hidden.

Finally, click on Generate! to start the creation of QR Code, then on Export to export the QR Code in image format.

3. Print the QR Code and log in
Print the QR Code, leave it at the disposal of your guests. They will only have to flash it using their smartphone to automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network without having to enter a password.
