Enjoy your Steam video game library by streaming games directly from your smartphone, tablet, Android TV or Apple TV box.
In May 2018, Steam launched its Steam Link app in beta on iOS and Android. If the application has since made its way on Android, it was ejected from the App Store after a few days.
A few days ago, Steam announced the great return of its application on the App Store, thus allowing owners of iPhone, iPad but also Apple TV, to catch up on Android users and to enjoy, and finally, their library of Steam games, streaming locally on their device.
To run Steam Link, the computer where Steam is installed (PC, Mac, Linux) and mobile devices must be connected to the same network (Ethernet, or 5 GHz Wi-Fi only), and have a strong connection to the Internet.
Also, if even older Android devices (the app requires Android 5.0 or higher) are able to run Steam Link, on iOS, only iPhones or iPads running iOS 11 or higher will be able to run the app. You will need to have Steam Controller, an Android compatible Bluetooth controller, or, for iPhone and iPad, an MFI (Made For iPhone) controller dedicated to playing on iOS.
1. Download Steam Link
To stream your Steam library to your iPhone or iPad, first download the Steam Link app.
Free, it allows you, once associated with Steam on your computer, to play your games in local streaming on your iOS device. To put it simply, games are run on your computer while the rendered video is sent to your mobile screen.

2. Configure Steam Link
Launch Steam Link on your mobile device and press the Start button.
Depending on the controller available to you, select the controller that will be associated with Steam Link.
3. Connect to the computer
The Steam Link app should then search the network for your gaming PC.
Once your machine is detected, select it to connect to it.
Copy the PIN code displayed on the smartphone, and enter it in steam on your computer and click OK.
4. Start streaming
Once the connection is established between the PC and the Steam Link application, press the Start Streaming button to stream the content displayed by your computer.
If you have chosen to use touch controls, Steam Link should display the gestures to be used to emulate the actions normally performed with the mouse and keyboard.
Tap Continue to connect to your computer.
Finally, after selecting your game, press the Play button to start your streaming game.
