Perform quick actions by hovering your mouse over any of the four corners of your Windows 10 PC screen as it exists on macOS.
The operating system of Macs incorporates a certain number of very practical functions, which would be of the most beautiful effect on Windows 10. This is the case, for example, of the active corners, a function which allows the user to carry out a Quick action by dragging the mouse cursor in any of the four corners of the screen.
Fortunately, third-party developers have taken on the task of developing a utility to fill this gap. On Windows 10, the one closest to what macOS offers is the free utility WinXCorners.
1. Download WinXCorners
Start by downloading the free WinXConers application on your Windows 10 PC, and unzip the resulting file in a directory on your computer.

2. Run the program
Run WinXCorners by double-clicking on the appropriate file. A priori, nothing happens. However, if you deploy the hidden icons pane, a new icon, that of WinXCorners, has appeared.

To ensure that WinXCorners is always accessible, it is better to choose to launch it when Windows opens. To do this, right click on the software icon from the hidden icons pane, and choose Start with Windows.

3. Configure the actions
Unfold the hidden icons pane and click on the WinXCorners icon to display the software control panel.
For each corner of the screen of your machine, choose whether or not to assign an action to perform: display all windows (All Windows, equivalent to the Windows + Tab shortcut), display the desktop (Desktop), start the screen saver (Start Screen Saver), turn off the screen (Monitors Off), and display the Action Center.

Once configured, simply swipe your mouse in any of the four corners of the screen to initiate the desired action. Finally, it is possible to temporarily deactivate WinXCorners by unchecking the Hot corners enab button.
