Set up your Xbox and wireless controller to play the games installed on your Xbox directly from your Android smartphone or from your iPhone.
For several months now, Microsoft has been allowing Xbox owners to play games installed on their console from their Windows PC, their Android smartphone or their iPhone. If the configuration to be carried out to play Xbox from your PC is not insurmountable, it is somewhat different if you want to play the console from your Android smartphone or from your iPhone.
To benefit from it, your equipment must first meet specific specifications. You must have a smartphone with Android 6.0 or higher or an iPhone running iOS 10 or higher, own an Xbox One or Xbox Series X | S, and most importantly have an Xbox compatible wireless controller with Bluetooth. Since the release of the first version of the Xbox One, Microsoft has evolved its controller. The first two versions did not use a Bluetooth connection to be connected to the console, but a proprietary wireless connection. It was not until 2016 and the third generation of Xbox controllers that Microsoft integrated a Bluetooth connection, essential for pairing the controller with your smartphone.
Finally, you must have an Internet box or a router, equipped with a 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection or a mobile data connection with a speed of at least 10 Mbits / s in reception.
