When installing the power supply in the computer, position the case in the right direction and locate the appropriate connectors.
The power supply is responsible for supplying energy to all parts of the computer, both the motherboard and the hard drives. It is therefore necessary to ensure that it is properly installed. Specifically :
- Do not overtighten the screws on the power supply to avoid deforming the metal frame of the case.
- The block has a large fan which generally aims to suck in air. Position the block in the housing so that the fan is in contact with a ventilation grid and directed outwards. Thus, he will be able to inhale fresh air.

- Find the ATX cable in the set of accessories that came with the power supply. With two large connectors, this thick cable is used to power the motherboard.
- Locate the ATX connector on the motherboard (large connector placed towards the edge) and on the power supply (large plug marked 24 pins ATX). Then use the cable to connect the two elements.
