At the beginning of each year, the ritual of sending greetings to his address book is repeated. While the message sent to loved ones is generally personalized, messages sent to other contacts are more neutral and often very similar.
To avoid sending the same individual message several dozen times, why not take advantage of a very practical WhatsApp function to kill with one stone, full of blows.
The messaging application indeed offers to create mailing lists which, once in place, allow you to send a single message to dozens of contacts, individually.
Understand by this that by sending a message to a mailing list, as many individual conversations with the different protagonists present in this list will be created in the application, without you having to do it manually.
Create a mailing list on iOS
To create a mailing list on iOS, open the app, go to the Discussions tab, and tap Mailing lists at the top left.

Then tap New list, and select all the contacts in your address book to whom you want to send your message, and tap Create, at the top right.
A chat window opens. Write your message as you normally would, and hit the send button.

Your message will be received individually by each person on your mailing list.
Create a mailing list on Android
On Android, open WhatsApp, press the options button represented by three small dots at the top right and tap New broadcast.

Select all the contacts you want to add to your mailing list and validate your mailing list by pressing the green check mark at the bottom right of the screen.

A chat window opens. Write your message as you usually do and press the send button to send the message to each of the contacts in the list individually.
Once your wishes are sent, don’t forget to leave your mailing list (or delete it) before your next message sending, otherwise your prose will be sent to all the contacts on this list.
