Easily find all the data from your old Android smartphone to your new iPhone by transferring them in a few clicks.
While transferring files from an iPhone to an Android smartphone can be tedious, transferring data from an Android device to a brand new iPhone is much easier.
While the Cupertino company seems to have trouble letting its users go, it welcomes newcomers with open arms, notably by offering an application that takes care of almost everything: contacts, messages, photos, video, favorites web, email accounts, calendars and even apps – free only – can be transferred from an Android smartphone to an iPhone in minutes. The only exception is music, which must be manually synchronized on the Apple terminal using iTunes.
Here’s how to painlessly transfer all the data from your old Android smartphone to your freshly unpacked iPhone.
1. Download Move to iOS
Start by downloading the Move to iOS app on your Android smartphone. Offered by Apple, it makes it very easy to transfer contacts, messages, photos, videos, web bookmarks, email accounts and calendars from your old Android smartphone to your new iPhone using a Wi-Fi connection.

2. Start the iPhone
To easily transfer data from your old Android terminal to the iPhone, perform the operation when starting the latter for the first time.
Activate the iPhone screen and unlock it by sliding it up to boot. Choose your language, country, and then when the Quick start page appears, tap Configure manually.
Connect iPhone to the same Wi-Fi hotspot that the Android smartphone is connected to. Then tap Continue, set up Face ID, and create a passcode to unlock your device.
Once all of these settings are configured, you should arrive at the data migration page. Select Migrate data from Android and tap Continue. Write down the code that appears on the screen.
3. Start the migration
Launch the Move to iOS app on your Android smartphone, and skip the start screen by tapping Continue. Then accept the General Conditions of the application and press Next. Enter the code displayed on the iPhone screen. The Android smartphone establishes a connection to the iPhone while the iPhone indicates that it is preparing for migration.
On the Android smartphone, choose the data to import from the iPhone: Google Account, Messages, Contacts, Calendar and Camera Roll. Start importing data by pressing Next. Do not close the application and wait for all the data to be transferred.
Once the data retrieval is complete, press OK on the Android smartphone. On iPhone, tap Continue to set up iPhone to complete its setup.
On the iPhone home page, you will be prompted to enter your passwords for the imported Google accounts. Another message also offers you to automatically download the free apps you owned on Android. Tap Add apps in the alert window to accept.
4. Transfer the music
Before you can find the music stored in your Android smartphone on your iPhone, you must back them up to your computer’s hard drive. Connect your Android smartphone to your computer and copy the directory where your music is stored to your computer.

You will then need to import all these songs into the iTunes library. To do this, a simple drag and drop is enough. Connect your iPhone to your PC, then in your music library, select the songs you want to transfer to iPhone.
Finally, right click on your selection, then in Add to device, choose xxx iphone.
