Twitter is in turn to give in to the sirens of stories. Tested for several months, the Fleets are now available to all users. Find out how to use them.
For the past few days, Twitter users have been in turmoil. The social network has just inaugurated a new feature, Fleets, in reality ephemeral stories as there are already on almost all other social networks. Grafted directly to the top of the timeline, Fleets allow users to share text, tweets, record videos or even post photos that can only be viewed by other platform users for 24 hours. .
And it is even possible to keep an eye on the audience of published Fleets since Twitter provides their authors with a list of accounts that have viewed them. If you haven’t already, here’s how to use them.

1. Publish a Fleet
As on all social networks offering stories, Twitter Fleets are at the top of the timeline, from the main page of the application. To publish your first Fleet, click on your avatar where the message Add is displayed.

2. Select the content of your Fleet
The window that opens offers you to select the content to add to your Fleet. By default, Fleets opens on your smartphone’s filmstrip, but you can select the content of your choice by sliding the dedicated menu displayed at the bottom of the screen to the right or to the left. Besides photos, you can post text, capture a photo or record a video on the fly.

When your content is ready, tap Finish to preview it, then tap Publish Fleet to post your first story to Twitter. You can then close the publication window by pressing the small cross displayed at the top left of the screen.
Note that it is also possible to publish any tweet in your Fleets. To do this, just hit the share button on a tweet.

3. Delete a Fleet
If you accidentally published a Fleet before you finished it, you will be able to delete it very easily. To do this, open your published Fleet, and press the small arrow pointing down at the top right. You should find a Remove Fleet option there.

4. Consult the audiences of your Fleets
Unlike tweets where it is not possible to know who has read it, viewed the published content or clicked on the shared link, it is possible to know which users have viewed your Fleets.
To do this, open your Fleet. At the bottom of it should appear the last people who viewed your story. Pressing this list will allow you to deploy the menu dedicated to the audiences of your Fleets and thus have an overview of the people who have interacted with your content.

5. Hide Fleets from certain accounts
If you follow certain accounts, but do not want to suffer their Fleets, you can perfectly do without them. To do this, keep your finger pressed on the Fleets of an account and choose to Hide it.

A pop-up should appear. You can then choose to Hide Fleets, or Hide Tweets and Fleets from the account concerned.
